What should i do about sony support?

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-AR520E laptop. it has the nVidia 8400m GT video card. in about 8 models of the sony vaio, this chip has failed, and caused distorted video, failure to boot to windows etc. my laptop is doing this, but sony will not repair it because it is not included on the list of the models that are supported by the repair recall. does anyone know what i should do?

is it worth going to court over?|||Going to court would be my last resort. Costly and time consuming.

Repair Recall indicates they know the fault is their fault.

Be persistent and firm.

Email and phone and send letters. If you are in Australia try the Fair trade people or ombudsman.

If your facts are correct you should win if you get to the right person in Sony.

Forum in Whirlpool.com.au might help.

Best of Luck
