I have an HP pavilion DV6000 notebook, and it has an amd processor, the laptop its self is about 3 months old. but I want an intel core 2 duo processor in it, along with a good video card. So how much would it cost to have them give me an intel motherboard with a new video card, and install it themselves?|||The Motherboard itself is very expensive depending on the model of your computer.I had a sony vaio with a dead motherboard and it cost me $300 because I took it to a PC repair shop but now it overheats because those idiots gave me the wrong ac adapter. getting fixed through sony would have been $700.You gotta know who you dealing with.|||Usually notebooks will not support this kind of upgrade. It will probably be cheaper to buy a different notebook that has the features that you want.
