Video Card Fried, any way to recover data from the laptop without video?

So my Asus G1S video card is done. I have data I would kill to recover from my laptop before i send it to get wiped and repaired (they won't back up), anyone have a possible solution to salvage my files without being able to connect to another monitor or "see". The laptop starts up fine and loads into windows (i can hear it go) just fine.|||Take the hard drive out and put it in another laptop or buy an external enclosure and turn the drive into an external USB drive. (If you buy an external enclosure, make sure it is for or compatable with a 2.5 inch drive. (The connectors for laptop and desktop internal drives are different)|||well what you can do is try to get ahold of another laptop (such as a friends or a family members) pull your hard drive and insert it in to the borrowed laptop the back up the files on another drive of what ever sort you can get ahold of

or like wise replace the video card your self or have a hardware savy friend of yours replace the card for you|||Use an external monitor, or plug in the hard drive to another system via USB|||Hook it to an external monitor
