I've already tried swapping the memory and the video card.|||It's most likely a hardware or hardware driver issue. Since it's calling out a PCI.SYS you might be able to trace the problem on your PCI bus.
Try pulling out any non-essential device in your PCI slots or disable any onboard devices that use the PCI bus.|||try f 10 while it boots. and reinstall windows you wont lose any info.|||You might not be able to do a repair. Backup important files, reformat and reload XP.(nuke and repave)|||Aw Snaps! =)
I'm an IT technician and we commonly refer to that as the "Blue screen of Death"...you have 7 days to live..LOL j/k. You have some type of hardware failure. Pray to the computer gods that it's nothing "on-board" (built in to the motherboard). Try removing or replacing all additional pci or agp components and remove memory or replace. Try to think what was the last thing you were doing that might've caused the problem, was it an electrical short, power strip failure...etc. If after removing any/all additions and it still doesn't work, you'll either need to have the motherboard repaired or just get a new one. Good luck
