And how hard would it be? Could I do it myself? I can get ahold of the other computer for about $75 as compared to the $400 that HP wants to charge me for repairs.|||Diamond Girl, what I know about computers can be kept in a thimble, but unless your computer is a hi-capacity one that is brand new and cost like $1200+, it will not pay you in the long run to spend $400 for repairs to it. You can BUY a new laptop for $400!
I suggest that you take your laptop to a computer parts store and see if they can do anything for you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
